Follow these simple steps to ensure that you measure your curtains
correctly:
- Use a metal tape or rule and not a fabric tape
measure as these often report inaccurate measurements
- Measure the width of your track or pole
- Measure the distance from the track to
the required drop level
Measuring the Width:
Measurement is taken from the track or the pole and NOT from the
window itself.
- Tracks are measured to their full width
- Curtain poles are measured between the decorative
ends

Measuring the Length:
The
length measurment is dependent upon the base length and the heading
style that you choose.
To measure the base, you must first decide whether you want the
curtains to drop to:
- The floor
- Below the sill
- To the sill
Always allow 1cm (1/2in) clearance above the radiator or the carpet.
If a carpet has not been laid allow for a 2.5cm clearance (1in)
